Privacy Policy

OneQuote is a private, invitation-only tool. This describes what it holds and why.

What is stored

The details you enter about your quotations — the account, what the customer asked for, quantities, prices and dates — along with your name, email address and your reminder preferences.

A record of actions you take in OneQuote, so that the activity report can show what you worked on and when.

What it is used for

Running the service: showing you your quotations, sending your reminder emails, and producing your reports.

Nothing else. Your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build profiles.

Email

Reminder emails are sent from OneQuote's own mail server to the address on your account. You can change that address, or switch reminders off entirely, in Settings.

Who can see your data

You can see your own. The administrator of your OneQuote can manage who has access to the service, and can withdraw it.

The service runs on established hosting and database providers, who process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.

How long it is kept

For as long as your account is active. If your access is withdrawn, your data is retained but no longer reachable by you. Ask the administrator if you would like it removed.

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the person who administers your OneQuote.
